Loser was written and directed by Amy Heckerling and was released on July 21, 2000. The movie is about a college student who falls for a girl. The girl just happens to be an Everclear fan :) He buys tickets to their show to try to impress her, but ends up going by himself. There's a lovely, little concert scene with our favorite guys and Davey (muttonchops and all!) performing So Much For the Afterglow. The movie was okay, nothing that spectacular. The concert scene is great, but it's pretty short. Loser is now out on video, but I'd suggest seeing it only if you're a big Everclear fan.
