I sneak around the garden wall
I see you in the dark
I run to you with open arms
Disturb a sleeping lark

The light goes on in the house behind
We duck under a tree
My heart is racing,mouth is wet
Waiting for you to kiss me

We steal a kiss and declare our love
We'll be together soon
We wanted to share our wedding vows
Within the month of June

But we'll run away from glaring eyes
And words of hate and lie
The others they don't understand
