Is Jesus Christ God the Son or the Son of God and what is the difference?

Son of God is the tabernacle made of flesh in which God spoke of in the Old Testament, the Tabernacle was covered with Flesh and was portable. God said that He would walk among his people, the Father was speaking of the future, He is the LORD that brought them out of Egypt. He walked among His people. The name God the Son is never used in Scripture if you can find it please let me know and I will change this statement.

Leviticus 26:11 And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

What are the attributes of God had that the Son didn't, the Son of God could only be in one place at a time.

God is omnipresent (everywhere at the same time).

The Son of God had to walk from place to place, he went

John 7:1 ¶ After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
John 10:23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.

Matthew 9:35 ¶ And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Matthew 12:1 ¶ At that time Jesus went on the Sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

God is All knowing, but the only Begotten Son did not know every thing.

Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

The Son of God only knew what the Father taught him, he calls himself the Son of man.

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

God is the first and the last but the Son the second Adam.

1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

God is Eternal the Son of God died, can God the Son die and still be God?
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

As Christ the man (only begotten Son of God) was born and that way he could die this is the reason that he came ! Yes God and His Plan existed before It all came to pass, but there had to be a point in time that the Son would be Born and die,

Romans 5:6 ¶ For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 14:15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
1 Corinthians 8:11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

God is omnipotent (all powerful, has all power lacking none) does not have to be given.

As the Son of God Jesus was given all power, only God can give him all power.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Is Jesus the Son of God the tabernacle that God dwelled in and not God the Son,

How can this happen How can the omnipresent God dwell in a man His Son?

Solomon asked God that question and God answered him in this way.

1 Kings 8:27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

1 Kings 9:3 And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

Where the God of the Bible puts His name there He is.

Then did Jesus lie when He claimed to be God? No!!!!

Because He came in His Fathers name and where His name is there He is!!!

That is why we can say that God was in Christ not that Christ was God! There is a difference

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

And in Christ dwelleth the fullness of Deity not the second person God the Son but the Father, Jesus Christ is not in the Godhead the all the fulness of the Godhead is dwelling in Jesus. That is why at times he spoke as the Son, and other times he had the Power of God, God did all the work he as the Son submitted as the Father told him.

Colossians 2:
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

The Spirit and all Things were given to Him, as God they would not have to be given but as the Son they belong to the Father that is God.

John 3:
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

He is in the Omnipresent Father and the Father is in him, this is like you take an empty glass and place it into water the glass is in the water and the water is in the glass, but the glass does not become the water. The tabernacle is the Tabernacle, the Temple is the Temple, it all depends on what is on the inside

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

But as God He forgave sin and only God can forgive sin

Mark 2:7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

Luke 5:21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

As a man Prays to God, does one God pray to another or is it the Son (man) Praying to The Father.

Matthew 26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that cannot be reversed because God say that He is my only begotten, Son. How can he be eternal if He is begotten, you have to have a father who begot you and you had to have a start sometime, Isaiah, speaks of a child being born in the future and he shall be called not that his name is already called, that means that the has not been born yet. Not only is he going to be born but he is going to be called the everlasting father, not the everlasting son, because the Everlasting Father is dwelling in him.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

He will deliver up the Kingdom even up to God, even the Father, and be subject to His Father, what happened to being co-equal, you cannot be equal if you are subject to.

1Corinthians 15:
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Does that mean that if he were God the Son he would be giving up his kingdom up to God the father.

Does one God have another God or dose a man have a God?

John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

We gave one mediator between God and man, is it the God or the man Christ Jesus because there is only one God the Father.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Who are we going to see when we get to heaven, are there going to be three persons, or and old man with a young man with a dove flying around, are we going to see one God with three heads. No.

Revelation 21:
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

The Lamb is the Temple and lamp and the Glory of God is Going to shine through Him.

God only had one face and the only way we are going to see it is to look at the Son. He is the image of the invisible God.

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:\
Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

John 14:
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Remember what He said when He spoke about the Comforter, you know Him because He dwelleth with you.

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Romans 8:
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 ¶ And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

The Spirit of God which is the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Christ, the same Spirit that raised him from the dead. And if you don't have His Spirit you are don't belong to Him.
