So I downloaded the English translation of RPGMaker, and was having way too much fun with it, when I started this little side-project.

You begin the game as Taski. Kaoru has promised you that you both will go to the Summer Fair today- but first you have to wake him up. Taski's goal for the day (besides dragging Kaoru out of bed) is to win the Doubles Combat Tournament that evening. The catch is, you can't just enter it. You need to complete the test before you can be invited to enter. Discover what the test is and complete it so Taski can show off just how great he is at sword-fighting to the rest of the town!

Sound doofy? Whatever. It's amusing.

Most of the game is combat, as you make your way into the Tournament, but there are some side games and scenes to distract you. Some of these side games give you rare items and equipment. Especially helpful are the scrolls that let Kaoru learn magic spells, and special items that can boost your stats.

To play, you will need a copy of RPGMaker with it's RealTime player thingy. Download it from Don Miguel's translation site, located here.
