Iceman was a Japanese group in the late 1990s. The unit was comprised of Asakura Daisuke on keyboards, Ito Kenichi on guitar and vocals, and Kuroda Michihiro (nicknamed Rin) on vocals. They did techno-pop style music, also called synth-pop. Very heavy on the synthesized parts, very techno beats, Iceman's work is characterized by their uniqueness, which still managed to carry Daisuke's trademark style. Most of us Amercian fans know them as the group that did Shining Collection for the Gravitation OVA, but they had many albums and singles in their three years together. I particularly recommend Dark Half~ Touch your darkness, Lost COmplex, and Wish Matrix.

In 1999, aftr their GATE album series, Michihiro announced that he wanted to do solo work. Apparently they never 'officially' broke up, but it seems unlikely that they will ever reunite, as Michihiro's solo style is vastly different from their work together. I absolutely love his solo work, and highly recommend it to everyone.
