Hawk Sings

Hawk sings
as she hunts,
wheeling on the floating winds.
Trees fly by as she swoops,
lifts silver fish in her talons,
tearing,
carrying it towards
the fuzzy hatchlings
nesting high in the redwood tree
dusted with dewdrops.

Notes: Another Writing class work, I dislike this one immensely now. I need to work on endings. That's why.
