Rho Pi Zeta Chapter was chartered by five women on February 19, 2000 - the second Zeta graduate chapter to be chartered in the millenium! Even prior to the chartering of Rho Pi Zeta Chapter, a standard of community service excellence had been established. Chartering members originate from a myriad of exemplary undergraduate experiences hailing from the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic East Coast, to its home in Massachusetts. Each member had her own way of contributing to the vision of service for this chapter. Chapter members hold a variety of reputable employment positions, but the majority within organizations of service of some sort, such as educational institutions, medical facilities, state departments, or community facilities, hence demonstrating the overall ideal of service and the way in which it carries over into her every day life. Since the chartering of Rho Pi Zeta, numerous hours of service have been dedicated to the communities from which its members came, primarily focusing on the Dorchester Family Branch of the YMCA along with the Southeastern Massachusetts area. Ravishing Rho Pi Zeta is a citizen of her community, educated and informing others, accomplished and assisting others, sharing the dream of our founders.
