BJ is one of the pups out of Angel’s 2nd litter. He started showing working ability and talent at 8 weeks and by 9 weeks showed he was a “keeper”. He has a lot of eye and power for a puppy. BJ has a nice wide cast and great balance. He works out wide, or up close depending on the type of stock he is working. He will hold his ground when challenged.
BJ has also shown great interest in working cattle already. BJ recieved his first herding title in the “baby class”, AKC HT in March of 2002. In April of 2002 he got his first leg in ASCA Started Sheep and recieved second place. He finished his PT title in St. Louis, September 2002.
BJ has the sweetest disposition around people and animals and can work all day or curl up in your lap. He has already started work as a therapy dog at school and loves the kids. He’s pretty sure he can get into this housedog mode!
BJ is also getting ready to make his debut in the conformation ring, hoping to achieve his breed championship. We just have to learn that “hold still” part.
