WIAA Playoff Appearances
In 1976, the WIAA began championship playoffs for high school football in Wisconsin. State champions were determined in four divisions, with a total of 16 team making post-season play. Conference re-alignment helped Mayville and coach Jack Omer to make its first playoff appearance in 1980. In the 36 seasons since its inception, Mayville has made 25 playoff appearances, including 14 consecutive from 1991 through 2004.
