I still remember that first draft, 4 years ago. Gathering together w/ my good friends Gary, Chris, and Rishi, and "meeting" a new one that I would consider a friend, Brian (whom I have never actually met). Selecting Raul Mondesi w/ the 11th overrall pick. I counted on Justin Thompson and Andy Pettite to carry my pitching staffs. What can I say, I was a naive rookie. Thinking Brian had won the league after 2 months. Kwan thinking his offense was indestructable after 2 weeks. Laughing at the likes of other such owners, Gator Bait and Cougars...ahhh the memories. In those 4 years, owners have come and gone. Pavao and his rag-tag bunch of know nothing goons as well as 'lil Kwan (showing us why nepotism is not a good policy) and Wade "I agree to the trade but let me accept it 2 weeks from now" Carr have graced us with their presences. But also we've had the pleasure of welcoming in new strong owners such as David and Josh who bring in their own zest and enthusiasm for the game. I want to thank you ESPN for bringing us together and we will never forgot you (nor will any of the owners allow me to forget you should this site go south :) Thanks for introducing us to fantasy baseball. As we welcome in a new fantasy service with a bright and promising future, we will always have a place in our hearts for you. May we all give a moment of silence. You have served us well. Thank you ESPN.
