Gary Blanchard, FLB Legend, but at what Cost?

Gary Blanchard has been the most successful owner these past 3 years, securing 2 titles and also a 2nd place finish. Gary's past is quickly catching up with him however. Released 4 years ago for indecent acts against children, Gary has no regrets for his past. However victims of Mr. Blanchard, or as he liked to be called "Big Daddy", are crying out for justice. "Why should he be basking in the glory and receiving accolades from Red Sox GM Dan Duquette when our suffering and pain continues. The fact that Blanchard shows no remorse only adds to the anguish we face," reports an unnamed victim.

"We are not perfect as owners. We are like everyone else. Sure we make mistakes, but who in life hasn't? I wouldn't want to participate in Fantasy Baseball without him. Yeah he has character flaws but maybe that's what gives him the edge when it comes to trades and evaluating players. Just as he shows blantant disregard for his countless victims, he plays FLB the same way. He will trade you the dregs of his team for your top players and actually lead you to believe that you are the receipient of the better end of the deal. I too am a victim of Gary, but you don't see my crying to the press about it," remarks Mr. Loew of the October Fury.

With no end on the horizon to the Blanchard dynasty, it looks like we are going to have to deal with his off the field antics. They continue to be blown out of proportion due to Gary's high profile in the industry. We can only offer these words of caution to owners and the general public: 1. Owners be leary when Gary comes to you with a trade. 2. Watch out little boy...Gary Blanchard just moved in.
