Jim Ferrari, Kimo GM

We travel out to San Diego, CA to visit with one of our newest and most intriguing new owners, Jim Ferrari. Jim is 38 years old and has lived in San Diego his entire life. I feel for you Jim; there aren't many of us who could have remained devoted to the Padres as they strutted out in those god awful brown uniforms. Jim is married with 2 young ones at home, a 2 year old daughter, Paulina and a 6 month old son, Kimo who obviously is the namesake of Jim's team. Let us all hope that you do well in your inagural season for your son's sake. I fear a 12th place finish could traumatize Kimo for the rest of his natural life as his name would cause chuckles in Fantasy Baseball circles all over the globe. Jim also makes a living as a professional tennis player. As you can see, Jim is quite busy in his personal and professional life, but he still finds time for baseball. His wife is currently attends law school and studies 2-3 hours a night, during which time Jim is able to sneak in a few hours of draft preparation. Jim feels that the key to winning the league will be to acquire durable players and a helping of lady luck. Should Jim draft a strong team and power his way into the lead early, he may draw comparisons to the aptly named italian sports car. However, we all know this is a marathon and not a race, so Jim must be careful not to run out of gas before the dog days of summer arrive. Jim is looking forward to getting to know everyone a little better and his mailbox is always open for thoughts about the upcoming season and information about yourself. We travel to WETSU headquarters later this week to talk with owner Tom Stearns.
