Trading Guide - Best Keepers ala Kimo

Kimo's top-10 players to get.

1. Cabrera, A-1 $5
A young stud to build your team around.

2. Teixeria, A-1 $5
I'm willing to take a chance on him.

3. Pujols, LTC 2/4 $26
You have to pay for consistency.

4. Beltre, A-1 $7
Weird, last year's experts were predicting break out year. This year, there are whispers of a drop off. Age in the Mid 20's almost 50 HRs, I'll take the chance.

5. Ortiz, CY $10
Left hand power hitter that plays ping pong against the Green Monster. Not to mention he bats clean up for the Sox.

6. Gagne, LTC 2/5 $9
You have to pay for consistency.

7. Crawford, CY $4
I hate putting a steals guy in the top 10 but I see 60 SBs, 300 avg, 15 HRs.

8. Santana, LTC 2/3 $15
I don't value SP very high but he could be one of the best next year.

9. Mora, A-1 $1
300 hitter, 25 HRs, 15 SBs, would love to see him get 600 At-Bats.

10. Beltran, LTC 2/4 $30
A little expensive but a 40-40 player.

Just outside the top 10
Michael Young, CY $10
15% of team At-Bats will come from him. 700 At-Bats, 300 hitter, 20 HRs, 15 SBs. I always like 300 hitters with a little pop that don't walk much in a batting average league.

Mota, $4

Cordero $3

Nathan $11

Sheets $9

Peavy $10

A LIST OF PLAYERS YOU DON'T WANT!

1. Posada LTC 2/3 $20
Mixed league, one catcher needed, Posada should be thrown back into the auction.

2. Hinske LTC 2/4 $6
Not even a starter anymore.

3. Vasquez LTC 2/3 $23
Should be thrown back in the auction.

4. Pedro LTC 2/2 $43
6 1/2 inning pitcher for $43? No way!

5. Wood LTC 2/4 $26
I just can't see spending this much money on a pitcher with a LTC

6. Colon LTC 2/2 $17
Not a keeper.

7. Lowe LTC 2/2 $10
Not a keeper

8. Durazo LTC 2/3 $7
A part time player. Elgible only for DH, signed to a LTC. No thanks.
