As I gaze at the horizon,
And the brilliance of the sun;
The beauty of the universe,
It's splendor not undone
By the urgency of man
To dominate and to obtain;
Destroying what gets in his path,
Of greed and selfish gain.
Sometimes I sit and contemplate
What could this world be,
If loving human kindness
Were our main philosophy?
If we truely loved our neighbor,

And learned to live in harmony,
Here on our earthly home?
What if we had no knowledge
Of bitterness, anger or hate?
If compassion ruled our thinking
In any heated debate?
If we listened with a open mind
To each other's voice,

If commitment, trust and honor
Motivated our decisions;
With manipulating or deceitfuness
Not given any real provision;
Cherishing all this world provides,
Sharing all it has to give,
