What Is America To Me?

Title of Your Page Title of Your Page

Jacqueline’s Junque

The right to live my own life,
the way that I decide.
Opportunities to fulfill my dreams,
with freedom, peace and pride.

To worship a higher power,
Whatever be my choice,
To stand for all I believe in,
without fear to lift my voice.

The right to defend myself,
my home and family.
While contributing my very best,
and living responsibly.

The chance to select my leaders,
in a democratic setting,
To replace them when I believe they fail
with decisons worth regretting.

It's looking towards tomorrow,
rich with possibilites;
For future generations...
Thats what America is to me.

~American Creed~
I believe in the United States of America
as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people,
whose just powers are derived from the consent of the government;
a democracy in a Republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States;
a perfect Union one and inseperable;
established upon those principles of freedom,
equality, justice and humanity
for which American patriots sacrificed their live and fortunes.
I therefore believe it is my duty to my country
to love it; to support the constitution; to obey the laws,
to respect the flag and to defend it against all enemies,
foreign and domestic.
