In your time on earth...
be full of love and hope.
Hope gives us strength to keep going,
even when we feel we should give up.
Don't let anyone hold
your happiness in their hands...
Hold it in your own
and it will always be in your reach.
Don't measure success or failure
simply by material wealth,
but instead by how you feel.
Your feelings are what
determine the riches in your life.
In your time on earth...
don't let bad moments overcome you.
Be patient... with time they will pass.
Don't hesitate to reach for help,
we all need it from time to time.
Don't run away from love, but towards it.
It will be your deepest joy,
for it is not the length of your life,
Or the depth of the grave,
in the end we are measured
by the love that we gave.
Give it freely and be rich
in all that will be returned to you.
In your time on earth....
don't wait for what you want
to miraculously come to you.
Go after it with all that you are,
knowing life will meet you halfway.
Don't feel like you've lost
when your plans and dreams
fall short of your hopes.
Anytime you learn something new
about yourself or life itself,
you have progressed.
Use this knowledge wisely
taking comfort in each lesson.
In your time on earth...
Don't do anything that takes away
from your self-respect.
Feeling good about yourself
is essential to feeling good about life.
Don't ever forget how to laugh,
or be too proud to cry.
It is by doing both,
that we live life to the fullest.
By holding on to faith, hope and love
you will find your time on earth
has been one of joy for you
and those who share life with you.
