SHINING STAR AWARD, 25 OCTOBER 2008

Lynda McNally, Mary Olsson, Toby Olsson, Dr. Marianne Felice, Kai Olsson

On October 25th, 2008, Lynda McNally, Mary Olsson, and Kai Olsson received UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center's annual Shining Star Award in honour of their fundraising efforts.
Their annual concert event, Harmony from the Heart, raises money for platelet research at The Center for Platelet Function Studies at UMass.
Marianne E. Felice, M.D., professor and chair of the Department of Pediatrics at UMass Medical School, presented the award.
Pictured at the presentation is Mary and Kai's youngest son, Toby.
