Alright, theres quite a few things to update here:
1) We have parted ways with our drummer, Rich. Pretty much all the clichè details the split apply, it was mutual, as we've grown as musicians, our views changed a bit from a musical and visionary standpoint, we're still friends, etc etc...but what it really comes down to, is Rich's heart just wasnt in it anymore. If anything comes up about him being in a new band any time in the near future, you'll hear about it here.
2) We have a new drummer, Chris Beauregard (As She Dies/With Hope Comes Winter/XhomicideX), and we are working with him on getting tight on the old material, and soon to begin work on new material so we can get some new music out to the masses. We're excited to be working with him and seeing what new elements he can bring to the table, and the direction we will be taking with the new material (we know one thing for sure: it will be more eclectic and diverse while still retaining a lot of the old edge and melody we've always used)
3) Skatefest was incredibly fun to play, and we met some cool people from the music industry while there, both band members and label reps. There was a very good turnout for the time we played at, quite a few hundred people.
4) New shows should be on the way very soon, but as expected, we have nothing lined up due to the lineup change. We're targetting somewhere around mid to late November to get back out to the stage and rock out for everyone.
5) Finally, I know I've said updates should be more frequent, and someday, and when the newsworthy things start to happen more often, you'll see a lot more action on this site...and anyone that has pictures of us should ship them on over, we want to spice things up around here soon.

We are officially playing Saturday of Skatefest, despite what any site on the internet says, because Scott Lee says so...and you can't fuck with Scott Lee. Other bands that day include Simple Plan, Coheed and Cambria, H2O, The Movielife, Piebald, Nora, Read Yellow, Boys Night Out, My Chemical Romance, Small Brown Bike, Armor For Sleep, The Program, and I am Disaster among many many other bands. Tickets for that day are 25 bucks (available in advance through Tickets.com or any Strawberries location, and with outraeous service charges come out to about 30 dollars). Friday of skatefest costs 20 bucks and features The Starting Line, Senses Fail, With Honor, Bury Your Dead, and our good friends in The Amber Fashion among many others. If you want to check out both days, which we highly recommend, a 2 day pass is 40 dollars.
We Still also have the show next Sunday, September 21 at our favorite venue ever, The Fat Cat. Contact us for tickets to that, theyre only 8 dollars and you get to see us and a whole lot of crazy metal.

Ironfest went really well, the money raised for cystic fibrosis came out to 650 dollars. The show ran pretty smooth too. As of right now, we are in the process of writing some new material and getting some bigger shows in new places with different crowds. We've got 2 lined up, and a few more are in the works. One of the shows is a very very big show at the Worcester Palladium, SKATEFEST 2003. Its a 2 day event with a whole lot of good bands. We're also playing the fat cat again the weekend before skatefest, with Acacia Strain, Sulaco, Ballpoint Massacre, and As She Dies. Big thanks to Scott Lee for hooking us up with both of those, among lots of other contact info to help us get on some shows in other areas, which will be looked into shortly.

We've added another show, and this one is important for another reason other than us having a show. It's a benefit for Cystic Fibrosis, called Ironfest. Confirmed bands are: As She Dies, The Amber Fashion, Continuum, Failed Silence, Kerosene Ribbon, and I am Disaster. More bands are TBA soon. It is Wednesday, July 30 @ the Moose Lodge in Chicopee (244 Fuller Rd). There are more good bands on the way for the show, so keep on checking up here. Rick is booking it. The show is only going to cost 5 bucks. Good music all day + good cause + nice low price = all the reasons in the world to check out this show.

We're currently on a short break, writing new material til our next round of shows, which includes 3 in the week of July 13. As usual, the new stuff will be testing some new waters while not going too far out from our usual sound. Thats about all thats going on right now, this site is actually going to be kept up a little more frequently now as well.

We have a new mp3.com site up with our new name (mp3.com/dead reflection still exists as well), is here: mp3.com/kerosene_ribbon. There you will find one new song plus 2 older ones (re recorded). Shows have been updated, along with a few other things on the site. Anyone that has pics of us, send them over to us. If you go to a show, take pics of us and send them on over. We want and need as many as possible.
