Once there was love.
So blind I could not see.
Remember it, oh so well.
Now, only a fond memory.
You brightened up my life.
Like no-one had before.
Dreaming of times to come.
A life together to explore.
You've gone with no reason.
I'm left only just to guess.
Why our love is lost.
Back again, to loneliness.
Waiting patiently for you.
I sit here all alone.
Hoping for another chance.
And to have you back home.
