How the Newtonite Contributed to the Creation of PCHS
You can partially blame the Newtonite for the creation of "A Day at PCHS". In February 2004, the Newtonite asked me to spend hours doing an illustration and then asked me to revise it. When the editors didn't run this illustration, they lied about why they didn't run it.
That act of dishonesty was the final straw. It made me angry. One week after publication of that cursed Newtonite, I passed out copies of "A Day at PCHS." Long before February, however, the Newtonite had stifled my opinion. I submitted numorous cartoons to the editors, but they did not publish them because they were afraid of lawsuits and offending people.
The Newtonite has a very biased and boring viewpoint, and there are no other school newspapers. I hoped that "A Day at PCHS" would offer a different perspective, and get people thinking.
