Origin

She sleeps amongst the dead
No roses left upon her grave
With grief or love
Unknown and forgotten
In a stone coffin she rests
A memory of violent times
Watched over by stone angels
With grey and empty eyes
And with the night she will rise
Walk through the dark as a shadow
Ever searching for the one
To share this eternity
For she carries a loneliness
Beyond imagination
And some nights she sits
Atop her grave
Imagining another life
So long ago
Tracing the letters
Carved deep on the stone
Of the word
Written in silver on the chain
Round her neck
Thus, she is named forever more:
