After you have worked with the Robix system in the introductory set
of projects, you will need to design a project of your
own. You will need to use the resources of the text, the Robix
kit, and the computer. If you have used a luggable computer,
you might want to use a desktop, or vice versa.
Come up with a problem that you would like to solve with the Robix.
It should be a genuinely unique problem.
Describe the problem in text and graphics before you begin.
Break the problem down into a sequence of problems.
Solve the problems.
Document your solution with photos, text and a copy of the problem.
Explain what you set out to do, what the major problems were, and how
you solved or worked around them.
Here are a bunch of questions that should help structure
it:
Did you have to build anything?
Where did you find the information
you needed? Provide links to any websites that helped you.
If you were to do this problem
again, what would you do differently from the start?
Save your documentation along with the photos, drawings and a copy of
the Robix program in your Robix directory.
Make a link to it from your Robix index.
