Trouble shooting Robix

Problem:
I can't get the teach menu to activate, none of the servos can be controlled by the keyboard or the mouse:
Reason:
EI, Electronic Interface is not assigned.
Solution:
Configuration menu:
When you first start the program, you should be prompted to assign a port.  The port should be lpt1.
Pulldown for assign
If you don't do it the first time, you will have to find the pulldown menu for Assign EI

Problem:
When I open my saved Robix file/program/document it doesn't look anything like what I was working when I saved it.
Reason:
Robix seems to be remembering some other piece of code.  Maybe it is in some other memory location.
Solution:
1. Open it in notepad (drag the document icon over the notepad icon)

Or try this:
2.  At the folder view, associate the robix program with notepad
left click on your document icon
hold the shift key down
right click
choose "open with" and then NOTEPAD

Select the code of your program
Paste into the blue program console in Robix.
You should then be able to run your program.
Save each major revision of the program with a unique name that indicates either its features or its order of creation.
