Conclusion

To conclude, W.E.B. DuBois was a very intelligent man, who loved his family, his wife and his children very much. There were times when he felt that he could do more for his wife, and faily, but at the same time knew that he had provided for them very well. They never went hungry, or without clothing, and they also never went without love that both parents gave them unconditionally.

Finding articles that related to W.E.B. Dubois was not difficult in itself, however finding the articles that dealt with just his references to Great Barrington became a little more difficult. Especially when it is hard to get to the needed resources, but i feel that what i did find helps us to see the love that he did have for his home in Great Barrington, but also the life that e had here as well.

He talks very highly of his parents ad the educationt hat he was lucky enough to recieve, even if he was not allopwed to attend Harvard at first, but he grew from the many experiences that he encountered as he grew up, got married and moved around.

Those very experiences are what we get to read in his articles, not just about how his life was, but what it became and the struggles it took to get there. He had a wife he loved dearly and the support that he recieved from her was great. So the impact that her death had on him was unexplainable, but he was still able to survive and make it through, becaue that is what she would have wanted for him.

Hopefully this website was an insight into a part of W.E.B. DuBois's personal life, and that you were able to learn more about him on that level since he is a man that goes beyond educational accomplishments and sucesses.
