Inside this little package
You'll find some friendship seeds

Cow Seeds

Directions:

right side up. (Cow will grow upside

Layer the ingredients below
in a drinking jar and attach
the following poem on the front
and the recipe on the back.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup dry split peas
1/4 cup beef bouillon granules
1/4 cup pearl barley
1/4 cup dry lentils
1/4 cup dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1/4 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
1/4 cup uncooked alphabet pasta

Recipe:
Additional Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
3 quarts water
1 can(28 oz)diced tomatoes
Remove macaroni from top of
jar and set aside.
In a large
saucepan, brown beef.Add water,
tomatoes & soup mix. Bring to
boil, reduce heat, cover & simmer
for 45 min. Add macaroni, cover &
simmer for 15 to 20 or until tender.
Yield: 15 servings
Friendship Cocoa Mug
Fill a mason drinking jar with Cocoa Mix
and attach the following poem on one side

You need:
1 quart mason jar
Potting soil(no additives)
Vermiculite
Perlite
Peat Moss
Put approximately 1 1/2 cups of potting soil in the bottom of the jar.
Pack it down tightly. Add about an inch of
vermiculite,
1 1/2 inch peat moss and then an inch of perlite.
Top with 1 1/2 cups potting soil and pack down tightly.
Screw on the lid and cover with a circle of fabric,
fasten with an elastic band and then cover the band
with raffia or a length of ribbon. Embellish with silk flowers,
seed packets, small garden tools, etc.
Attach a card with the following instructions:
Potting Soil Blend for Flowering Plants.
1. Empy contents of jar into a bucket.
2. Mix ingredients together.
3. Place a rock or broken piece of clay pot into
the bottom of a 6 inch pot to cover the hole.
4. Put 1/3 of the soil mixture into the pot, add
a plant and place remaining soil around plant.
