What Password Protection Does Windows Offer?

Windows has many different resources that can be password protected. The major passwords are the following:

note You have the option to not have a password. Simply choose not to enter one when prompted by the Windows XP Setup Wizard, or remove the password later. Regardless of your choice, if you plan on being the only user of your computer you can opt to automatically log into your machine. Just make sure you aren't offering free access to sensitive data to unauthorized individuals.
