My uncle, Wayne McGuire, is assisting me with my racing career. Wayne won 166 races between 1960 and 1966 racing supermodified racecars. He is advising me on race techniques and how to set up my car for the best performance. Many people that know Wayne have commented that I appear to have his driving ability and I hope to one day be as successful as he was during his career.
We hope to be able to get as much coverage for our sponsors as possible. With 11 wins last season, our car was in the spotlight quite a few times and the fans were able to see the sponsor's decals. I want to be sure that all financial support receives credit and is known to the fans watching.
My team and I can only get better considering last season was our rookie year. Hopefully, we can duplicate our accomplishments from last season and continue our run up the ladder of success until we reach the ultimate height - NASCAR.
