In my opinion, Mac users can be the most ignorant people on the face of the earth. Although there are a few Maccies that admit Mac OS "has flaws," the majority of Anti-Microsoft lusers don't want to accept the fact that PCs (or "IBMs" as old-schoolers call them) are better than Macs.
Mac users' most famous "reason" that Macs are better is "OS X is stable. It's never crashed." I could say the same about Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Windows 95. Windows XP is by far the best OS I have used (and yes, sadly, I have used Mac OS X before). First of all, the speed of it is extraordinary. Boot time on my 2.53 Ghz vpr Matrix is under 30 seconds. User log on is less than five seconds. Switching users takes less than two seconds. Now, for you Maccies out there that aren't familiar with the switch user feature (since your "wonderful OS" doesn't have it), switching users is a feature that enables another user to log on, while keeping the programs of another user running.
A feature in XP that I have heard the biggest of Mac fans rant about is XP's locking feature. Once again, since Mac OS doesn't have this feature, I will explain it for the Mac users among us. When you lock a PC, you basically password-protect it. All you have to do is press WinKey + L, and you are taken to the logon screen (once again, your programs keep running). Once you return, you may unlock the computer by entering your password. Locking your PC is useful whenever you are viewing personal or private information, and want to keep prying eyes from seeing. Mac users often "attack" this fact by going on about OS X's screen saver password-protection. However, you have to program the Mac to do that, and less advanced users could cause serious damage to the already crappy Mac when attempting to do this. With XP, you can log on and lock straight out of the box.
Used to, when PC users would mention anything about game compatibilty, Mac users would change the subject and act like nothing was said. Now, they are starting to come back with the excuse "Macs get all of their games from the Internet." Boy, I bet you get some high-quality games there: Tetris, Atari Tempest, Break Out...Oh, the excitement is just too much! If you walk into Best Buy, you are going to see aisles and aisles of games for PCs, and two or three programs might run on a Mac.
One of the most popular statements made by PC users is that Macs cost a lot more than PCs. Mac users often rebut this with "you get what you pay for," and the PC user usually shuts up. Since this bothered me, I did some research to prove Mac users wrong. I found that a $400 Gateway is almost twice as fast as a $1700 PowerMac.
Yep, Mac users can be the most ignorant people...
