Lil' General Cloggers - choreography by Pam MacBeth

The Lil' General Cloggers from Kennesaw, Georgia USA are performing at the Grand Ole' Opry on the 8th of June. It can almost be seen as an annual little pilgrimage that they do to be part of the Grand Ole Opry. The Lil' General Cloggers are not just ordinary cloggers. They are traditional cloggers who have been around for a very long time. This is why they are often referred to as one of Georgia's historical treasures. It is remarkable to see a group of 20 cloggers, with an equal amount of men and women ranging from age 3 to age 30 put on such a good show.

The performance on the 8th of June will be even more spectacular than other years because no one other than Pam MacBeth is in charge of the choreography. Pam has made a name for herself as a choreographer and is known to
most big country music artists for her incredible talent and skill in dancing and choreography. Over the past few weeks Pam has been flying back and forth from Nashville to Georgia to practice with this group.

Pam MacBeth, who won the 1991 World Championship Clog Dancing, has her own flair and fancy footwork which undoubtedly will be recognized in the 3 minute performance of the Lil' General Cloggers. Those who find a 3 minute performance too short may like to know that the Lil' General Cloggers are also performing at the Opry Mills on the 9th of June where you can see them do a lot more clog dancing. Pam herself always entertains her audiences with dazzling footwork.
