One day, one day you are going to read what I have written, one day you will watch my dreams on the big screen, you will see through my eyes, feel my fear, my lust, my horror as I guide you into my world. You have no escape really- close the book and hide it under the sofa, switch off the TV or leave the cinema but my visions will follow you. Tempt you back, for you cannot deny Dix Letsch's mind.
In other words I am an author. I am going to be the writer of tommorrow, the new Steven King, the new Stanley Kubrick, the new Quentin Tarrantino, Hitchcock, Lucas, Spielburg, I will create horror in fiction that has never been thought of before. I will take your emotions to the highest element of fear, love, anger and saddness. I will make you cry for the young girl, I will make you want to murder the man who holds her in his arms. I will use you, my audience, as a puppet in my theatre.
Now you know what to expect I shall tell you how I am getting there. I am an A level student studying history, religion, english and psychology. What I am essentially living for is the written word. To be able to express oneself not using art, not using images, but words. To insert images into someones mind. To write about something and have that implanted into someones mind by them using their own imagination. It takes nothing to look at a picture and told, "oh yes that is a painting of a flower" or to watch a movie and it is all laid out in front of you beginning, middle, end. But to write something down and manipulate the readers mind so that they are forced to use their imagination, create their own world, but instructed to do it by me. That is the ultimate power.
Books have been written since the beginning of time, The Bible, The Doomsday Book, even the Ten Commandments were written. I want to change the way we read, the way we feel. I want to be an author that'll change everyones percpective on reading.
I have hopes for the future. I will take advantage of the educational systems. You are wiling to teach? I am willing to learn. I shall use you as my vessel. I hope you will one day enjoy my books and fell my dreams. Be one with me. Thanks.
