I LOVE THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW AND ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT. To be honest there is nothing much else about me. I'm 18 and I am studying Fashion and textiles cus I want to make outrageous clothes. I want to make costumes for and from films. So instead of me going on about me and boring you, I'll go on about the fab fab fab fab FAB Rocky Horror Picture Show.
"Rose Timt My World" is my favourate song from RHPS and I also like the title theme. In the theatre the unsherette is sung by a character named Trixie (i'd love that part!). The house from RHPS is in Oxley- or rather was- and the quaint American church was actually opposite Oxley House! There was no roof for Oxley house and the lead gave it that dim and dark look. There's quite a few mistakes in the film actually but I think they were on purpose because it was meant to be a rip off of the old Blue Movies. YOu can see the strong when Dr Scott goes up the stairs in his wheelchair, after Dr Frank N Furter sings his Sweet Transvestite song he takes the lift upstairs and then Brad and Janet follow. Once they get there the Transylvanians are already up there...but how, the lift is the only way up. And what the fuck is the time scale there? They go to bed for a bit then they have dinner, but it was late at night when Brad and Janet arrived....and morning when the RHPS finshes. And one more thing, at the end Brad and Janet drag Dr Scott out of the house over their shoulders yet when they sing the final song he is laying on his brocken wheelchair. Weird huh!! I think it's all on purpose and I don't care cus it rocks! Another cool fact is that Richard O Brien had no idea how to get Dr Scott into the lab because the only way up was in the lift, so Richard just blatantly said, "smash him through the wall!" and they did. I just the RHPS and I watch it atleast twice a week and I think it is the ocolest that the drama, music and dance classes here are doing it as a production. I feel sorry for Peter Hinwood who played Rocky though, and the rumours were a lie he didn't die in a car crash, he is actually a really successful antiques dealer and no it wasn't his real voice for the songs. The singer was uncredited though there are rumours some guy from Stevenage, Hertfordshire sang it although I haven't been able to locate whommmm. And the Ozzy actress who starred as Columbia now runs a cool nightclub in New York called Little Nell's. Richard O Brien has recently stared in the blockbuster Dungeons and Dragons which I thought was a great film to go along with my fantasy collection of Labyrinth, Dark Crystal and Willow :) Anyways I doubht you read all this unless you're a Frankie Fan. so i'll close with some very wise words.......
