2004 - Mick Fleetwood Rock.com Interview
September
24, 2004 (1cd)
20 minute interview with Mick Fleetwood about "Something Big" release.
Among the things he talks -
briefly about Christine's album. The
interviewer reads one of the reviews to him that implied that Chris'
songs were angry complaints about Fleetwood Mac and how she'll never be
back. Mick laughs and says he is quite sure Chris won't come back, but
he doesn't believe the songs are about the band. They're all, as far as
he knows, about a "disastrous" love affair Chris had. He talks
about how much they
enjoyed the SYW tour. Any disagreements
they still have are generally about artistic choices (i.e., set lists),
but they all love each other, etc. He talks about
Something Big and how it was recorded. He talks
about the bad place the
world is in. When asked, he implies
he'd vote for Kerry, but can't since he's English. He hastens to add
that John, being a staunch Republican, most certainly wouldn't.
