Pictures from Sorrento, Italy

We are starting off with how we saw Sorrento as we walked down into (or up out of) town from (or to)our campsite. Isn't that beautiful?

Then we grabbed a quick snap shot of the huge lemons. The store owners got really mad if you tried to take a picture, so we did this in a bit of a hurry.

lol! Here we ate out at a fancy restaurant. It was really good. Lana and Jerusha got smoke fish of some sort, and Lana is holding up her skeleton. She was very proud that she figured out how to eat it. She had never just been given a whole fish to eat before. It is also a little blurry because I took it too fast. You also see my plate of wonderful food there. It was spagetti with an assortment of sea foods, clams, muscles, etc. Yummy!!!

Here's Jerusha and Lana on our way to Capri, the island of the sirens.

And Jenny.

And tehre is part of the island. Cool looking huh?

When we were at the beach some boys, who didn't speak English, tried to hit on us...

We had fun with that, while just enjoying the beach. Italian men tended to hit on us a lot. But that's how they are...

Jerusha and Jen just loved the beach.

Here we have to "Tunnel of Love" hehehe

Oh, this orange hotel is the posh place to be. All of the American movie stars come here, at least according to the captain of the boat, who was hitting on Lana. Including such stars as Woopie Goldburg and David Hasselhof (sp?)

Lana and Jerusha actually went swimming. As much as I have swam in Lake superior, the water was cold, and I didn't go swimming...

Jerusha, Jenny and Lana behind of a cool garden.

Oh! Everwhere I have been in Europe always has Italian Eis stands (Italian Ice cream). We had a lot of that in Italy. Here they also make their own waffle cones.

Here we have the "Blue grotto." It is world renouned as a cool cave. But to get into it you have to go in one of these little boats and lie down in it. Otherwords you'd hit your head...

Here is a shot of the entrance from the other side. The blue comes from the sun reflecting off of the white sand bottom, and throguh the water. It was very pretty.
