Heliotrope is a character created by the talented Jennifer Diane Reitz. There is also a very cute Kamishibai (Japanese-style story, in a digital game-like format) created by Jennifer years before she made Heliotrope into a comic; watch it as well if you don't mind spoilers.

All files go into the Maxis/The Sims/Game Data/Skins folder. Some file names may be too long for proper use on a Mac OX system, but the skins should work fine on any PC with The Sims installed. You will need the Hot Date or Vacation expansion pack to "purchase" Heliotrope's swimsuit and sleepwear in the game. (She swims in her regular outfit, and removes the pauldrons to sleep.) When she showers, she wears her regular outfit on the default nude mesh (I couldn't change that), so she suddenly grows regular feet! Create Heliotrope as a "light-skinned" female child Sim.

Well, I couldn't resist making more characters. Dr. Nakimono was a lot of fun; his hair and glasses were challenging! Unless otherwise noted, all characters come with only the files needed for the head and one outfit. You'll have to find swimwear, sleepwear, and formals somewhere else!

Hannya is Dr. Nakimono's daughter. If you don't have Unleashed, click HERE to get the necessary mesh files for her head. If you do have Unleashed, they are already part of your game.
I made an Academy uniform for Chartruese, but that just wasn't enough... I couldn't resist making her outfit with the helmet as well. If you don't have Unleashed, click HERE to get the necessary mesh files for her head if you haven't already downloaded them for Hannya. If you do have Unleashed, they are already part of your game.
If you have Heliotrope as a child in your game, a child Fuchsia will give her someone to play with.
Adult Fuchsia comes with a formal gown in addition to her usual dress; not really fancy, but at least it's the right color! I've included two bitmaps for her everyday dress; one fits a nicer mesh that is only in Unleashed, and the other will work with any version of The Sims.
If you want to set up a romantic wedding for Heliotrope and Fuchsia, adult Heliotrope has a formal gown with her omnipitator and little pointy feet. (You can see it at the upper left in the screenshot collage above.) She also has the same sleepwear, alternate swimsuit, and alternate nude skin as child Heliotrope, all on a "skinny" adult mesh.
