I am a graphic artist/Apple (Macintosh) tech forVarTec Telecom, Inc. in Dallas, TX and have been with VT for 6 years. I am a former journalist and editor, having worked for (in order, from earliest to latest) the Steel Country Bee, Henderson Daily News, Westwards Communications, The Duncanville Suburban, The New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung,Killeen Daily Herald, and the Dallas Morning News. I am the recipient of 6 Associated Press awards and led the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung to its only AP Sweepstakes award in its 150-year history.I attended Tyler Jr. College and Stephen F. Austin State University. I was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. I am married to Dawn Lyon.
