Well since this is Yue's Shrine here's info about his character.
I speak of Yue as a
"He" here, although Yue is supposed to be genderless,
but he really looks like a "He". Pluss if
you notice his alter ego is Yukito (Julian Star)
is a he.
Yue´s symbol is the
moon, that´s why his name is the Chinese (Mandarin)
word for "Moon". As you can see from the pictures
here, he is a very pretty creature. His
hair, which he always wears in a REALLY long
ponytail is silvery white, his eyes are purple silver
and the pupils look like the one´s of cats,
he wears that white, yellow and purple dress and
he has large, white wings, like an angel.
He has no favourite
food, cause he never eats.
But Yukito seems to
make up for that. Eating everything in sight.
Yue likes sleeping and he doesn´t like annoyances.
Yue is often hiding himself within his other,
human form, known as Yukito Tsukishiro
(Julian Star). Yukito always changes to Yue whenever
Yue is needed (or if somebody commands him
to appear). Yukito has no memories of being Yue
and isn´t aware of his existence, but Yue has
memories of being Yukito and that sometimes
troubles him.
Yue's also has quite a bit magic of his own, that he uses.
Mostly offensive. Also he has a magic longbow, that he
summmons made of a bluish light.
Yukito (Julian) is also a really good archer.
But comming from someone who is actually, a real archer
I'm suprised that they hit anything. They have a really bad
ancor point, the "bow sting" is several inches from
their face. How in the world they aim is beyond me,
maybe that's just another of Yue's magic powers? Hmmmm....
There's also a couple of other problems with the form.
But, the release is good.
O.K. Enough digression...just thought I'd make that point.
First there is/was Clow Reed, Yue's creator. No one can really say
Clow was and still is very important to Yue and
he misses him a lot.
Second, there is
Yukito, Yue's "other form" or his disguise. But to Yue,
Yukito is much more than just his disguise,
because he wants him to have a happy life.
Third, there is Sakura,
Yue's new mistress. At first, he seemed not very
happy around her, but later on, he comes to like
her a lot. He would do everything to protect her
and to see her happy, cause when she's happy he is
happy as well.
Fourth, Keroberos, Kero for short.
Is another guardian of the cards, though
these two have their conflicts, they seem
to work pretty well together.
Fifth, there is Touya, Sakura's
older brother and Yukito's best friend.
And last but not least,
there's Eriol, one half of Clow Reed's
reincarnation. It is really difficult to say
if Yue likes Eriol or not. My opinion is that he
surely doesn't hate Eriol, but that he is happier
with Eriol being back in England.
So, as you can see, Yue-san
really has his differences with people. But I
think that is another thing that makes him
even more interesting.
Little trivia for you, ever wonder
why anime have main characters with white/silver hair?
Since it's really rare in Japan it's
good luck to pet someone on the head that has
blond hair, the blonder the better.
And that person supposed to be naturally lucky.
(So are they borrowing/stealing some of their luck? Hmmm...
Maybe that's why Yue's "arrows" hit the target.)
Just learned this from a friend who was an "army brat" and
lived in Japan when she was in grade school. She
hated riding on trains because she was still
short, and all these old ladies would try to pet
her head where ever she went. But she's really
tall now, kinda makes it a bit harder.
