In order to complete your travel brochure,
you will need to travel to one of the planets in the solar system and gather
as much information as possible.
You will reach your planet via
the internet. The brochure will be done on 9x12'' tag paper that
will be given to you in class. Your brochure will be done as a trifold.Please
see samples in class on how to make a trifold.
Please include the following information
in your brochure.
1. Planet name
2. 6 interesting facts about your
planet

The rotation period
-
Location in the solar system
-
Size
-
Temperature
-
Describe the atmosphere or lack of an
atmosphere

Describe any additional interesting
physical features (moons, craters, vocanoes)
4. Illustration of your planet

You may use crayons, colored pencils,
or markers
Remember to be creative! The
more travelers you attract with your brochure, the more money your travel
agency will make. This could mean a raise or promotion for you!
