Intstitute, Big Sur, CA. Esalen’s
professional instruction and fundamental massage skills were developed in the
late 60’s, incorporating Swedish, and specific Esalen movements and massage
sequences. Esalen training exposes
one to a form of somatic learning, which offers a meditation for both giver and
receiver. This encourages a release on the energetic and emotional level as well
as the physical.
