(Please read and abide by these. Failure to do so will result in your explusion from the Event.)
Video & Photography:
VIDEO: We ask that you NOT videotape anything at the convention that is not going on in your own hotel room. NWTS, Inc. WILL be making a video tape of the convention that will be available afterwards.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Basic ettiquette applies: ASK FIRST. If someone does not wish to have their picture taken, DO NOT TAKE IT. Also, there will be NO PHOTOGRAPHY OF MINORS without parental permission.
Child and Teen Rules:
TolCon welcomes fans of all ages. We have programming geared for several different age groups taking place throughout the convention. All children attending TolCon must be registered and wear convention badges. Parents must have a permission slip on file at registration. All children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian (“adult” defined as over the age of 21) at all times. Children under 13 are not allowed in convention areas after 11:00 pm. Teens between the ages of 13 and 17 must be out of all public areas by 2:00 am. Unattended children found in public areas of the hotel will be taken to the convention office. Repeated incidents will result in attendance priveledges at the con of both the parent and the child being revoked. If parents believe that their convention activities will be constrained by their responsibilities, they are encouraged to arrange for proper childcare at home.
Parties and Drinking:
All room parties must be registered at the Convention Office. Any open party that is not registered is subject to closure. A host or hostess, who will not be drinking, must be listed for the party and remain at the party at all times. That person is responsible for the party and any incidents that occur there. If alcohol is available, the host/hostess is responsible for checking ID. Alcohol must be served in a manner where guests do not have free access. Minors under 21 may not have access to alcohol. Noise must abate at 3:00 AM. After that point, the host/hostess of the party must be sure that the noise level stays within their rooms. Parties that do not reduce the noise level are subject to closure.
Flyers:
Flyers may be posted only in the areas that we have provided for this purpose. The hotel and/or the convention staff will remove any flyers from unauthorized places.
Animals:
If you have an animal at the convention, please contact the hotel for their rules about animals in the sleeping rooms. No animals are allowed in function areas, except for ADA compliant working animals.
