Name: Brethildur (male)
Age: older than dirt (born in Second Age)
Race: Elf
Occupation: Crown Prince of Mirkwood, putting up with Thranduil
Personality: Though Brethildur is an accomplished warrior (veteran of the
Last Alliance), he prefers his studies. He is the more studious of the Mirkwood
Princes by a long shot. He has long been in training to become the King of
Mirkwood in the event of his father's departure to the West or his death. He is
some what solitary and reclusive, and often seen as uptight and straight-laced,
but he has been known to let his hair down once in a while and have some fun.
More often, he has the responsibility of keeping his mischievous younger
brother(s?) in check. Brethildur is usually very diplomatic, though at times he
can be a bit irrational with his caustic remarks.
Features: Brethildur's hair is Elvishly long, and dark like his mother's.
It is usually tied back to keep out of his face while he fights or studies. His
eyes are an odd shade of silver, and usually sharp and piercing with his
calculation rather than soft with laughter. He has slender features and a slight
build, but as with most Elves, this deceptive frame hides great strength. He
commonly dresses in formal robes for the sake of diplomacy, but he prefers to
relax in simpler clothing. He is about 5'10" in height.
History: Brethildur's history is far too long and complex for it to be
stated in such a short space (or for me to make up). He was born in the middle
of the Second Age, which makes him pretty darn old. He hasn't had many lovers,
being the Crown Prince and being strictly watched by his old dad. His studies of
weapons have been interspersed with studies of history, astronomy, and poetry,
as well as learning diplomacy and foreign relations with Thranduil. He fought,
as stated above, in the battle of the Last Alliance against Sauron. He cares
deeply for his little brother(s?), though (t)he(y) has/have been known to get
mightily on his nerves with mischievous pranks. He hasn't had the most
interesting of lives, seeing as Thranduil refuses to die, but he's content with
being second banana for now.
