Once upon a Super FUnky Bu-dunka DUNKY time called ((((now)))) there was a super DUPA troupe of... Super Heroes called the Creature STAR All Stars! Their mission was and is to SHAKE there booties, to dance, march, clown, puppeteer and play music this Sunday, Sept. 30th 10:30 AM in the "How Berkeley Can You Be?!" Parade. ~Come help us get RAD and Save the World!~ Meet at 10:30, Parade goes from 11:00 - 1:00pm, To dance in parade either wear ALL WHITE, or a make shift Super hero costume, any kind, you choice, just grab pajamas, and a blanket or towel from home. See you there! SHOW UP the day off and help operate puppets, wave a flag, or dance around. show up 10:30am. Give me a call if you have an instrument to bring. If you have special needs or need your make-up done show up earlier. I will be their from at least 10:00am, and may be able to meet earlier. Events people will be at the Parade site from 9:00am on. Come volunteer for this Street Theater Parade Spectacular. We will do run throughs on this ====REHEARSAL: Memorial Glade Park, on the North Side of the UC Berkeley campus (...It's the big field, just behind the Graduate library) ====We will be singing "the Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats.==== Copies of the song provided, we will do several run throughs, and simple marching steps, bring your favorite instrument. Begginers are welcome, too. 2-4 people needed for dancing "Super Cow" Puppet act. 1-3 people needed for large 9 foot ~Apocalytptica~ puppet. Right now: great time to raid the Halloween and Thrift store. -SUNDAY- Spet. 30th Parade time: 11:00am to 1:00pm , show UP for SET-Up: 10:00---10:30 AM the "How Berkeley can You Be?!" parade is on Sept. 30th, 2007, University Ave. -StartsUniversity Avenue and proceeds up University Avenue to Shattuck, turns right on Shattuck to Center Street and then goes down Center Street two blocks, where it ends in Civic Center Park. Call for exact starting location!
