Very Very Very important : the following must be 100% certainly correct :
During the installation, you will be asked you whether you want to detect your drive's features (for some drives EAC will know them already). (They are about Accurate stream, Caching, and Retrieving C2 error info). If you let EAC detect them, do the test at least 3 times and write down the results every time - to make sure you have the right features !!! Anyway, the last feature (capable of retrieving C2 error info) must be disabled (drive cannot use C2 info), even if EAC says your drive can retrieve C2 info (C2 technology is fundamentally imperfect and moreover badly implemented in many drives) .
Note: if you are not sure about your drive's features, just play safe: set accurate stream to 'NO' and 'YES' is safest for caching.
If EAC asks to install the LAME compressor, choose 'NO'. Finally choose 'let me use the full potential of EAC since I am an expert'. Hehe, you have been warned ;-)
