Congratulations to you for choosing an occupation with the United States Postal Service. The position of a Postmaster Relief/Leave Replacement is non-career. We are a necessity to the USPS and Postmasters everywhere. Our duties are to know our office, our customers, our staff and the services that the USPS provides. We are to portray the professionals that we are. Our knowledge of postal procedures should be evident in our working routines. Our membership and involvement in local, state and national association groups can only help to strengthen the importance of a PMR. Websites are available for every topic, group, or for pure fun. The educational networking that can be achieved is a solution for circumstances that won’t allow personal contacts, visits or phone calls. I personally feel it’s time that PMRs take a slice of Cyberspace. I am no one to implement anything productive. I am asking for all PMRs to help in creating, designing, editing, formatting, and offering feedback on this site. It’ll either flop or swim. I choose to swim. Please browse the site.
