TRAVEL NEWS
Our Itinerary
May 10th:
Early flight to Beijing!!! (14 hour difference from Colorado)
May 11th:
Arrive in Beijing at 5:00 pm and sleep.
May 12th:
After breakfast, go to Jade place, the Great Wall and Summer Palace.
May 13th:
We will go to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and a pearl place. After another busy day of sightseeing and shopping we will fly to Nanchang.
May 14th:
GOTCHA DAY and a very Happy Mother’s Day for me! We meet baby Sophia at 3:00 pm.
May 15th:
Take the bus to the Notary’s office for interviews then off to do more shopping.
May 16th:
On the bus again, for a day in the park.
May 17th:
We have a three hour trip to Anyi village which is 1000 years old. Wow!
May 18th:
Taking a walk to Tengwang Pavilion.
May 19th:
Pick up Sophia’s passport at police station. Later in the day, fly to Guangzhou.
May 20th:
Get photos of Sophia for her visa and also get her medical check-up done. Fill out forms for the American Consulate.
May 21st:
Walk to a nearby church for a Sunday sermon. Then, we will be on our own for the rest of the day?!
May 22nd:
The guides take our documents to the American Consulate. We hang out while documents are processed. At 3:30pm there will be a group photo taken. At 4:30pm we're having pizza in our room. At 6:15pm we'll go on a river cruise.
May 23rd:
At 2:30pm we go to the American Consulate to take oath and receive our daughter's passport.
May 24th:
8:30am fly out of Guangzhou to Hong Kong then back to the USA and home!!!

We have our travel dates: May 10th - 24th, Hooray!!! Sophia, Mommy and Daddy are coming! Everyone, can you believe it?! Kelly and I are going to China!
