The plane trip was exhausting! We were not seated in economy class (which gives 6-7 inches more of leg room) and I definitely recommend it for those of you making this trip. While we were at the airport in San Francisco, waiting for our flight, we were enjoying a good coffee and sandwich. Here's a photo....

Also, we were seated near a college group that was socializing in and around our coach making sleep impossible. Anyway, I was happy to get to the hotel and fell asleep quickly. The "Holiday Inn Central Plaza Hotel" is indeed top-notch and very comfortable (even the bed).
