I wanted to add a brief history of the White Swan for all those yet to visit. The White Swan Hotel is set on the edge of Shamian Island. Originally a beach on the Pearl River facing the White Goose pool, Shamian was separated from the mainland in the Qing Dynasty and turned into an island which overlooks the river on one side, and has the city at its back on the other.
 One of our favorite spots inside the hotel is the "River Garden Coffee Shop" located by the Koi ponds and waterfall.
 Sophia had to nap then we were off to do some last minute shopping.
 Just one more gift, one more shop.... Phew, I'm done and can honestly say shopped out. Now, we need to pack for our 9:00pm luggage call (there are so many families leaving at the same time that bags must be loaded the night before).
 It's 2:30pm and time for our Consulate appointment. Kelly and I will swear an oath and pick up Sophia's passport and visa. Oh, by the way did I tell you all that Sophia is legally our child? Our baby! Sophia is the reason why we are here and why we stuck it out through thick and thin. We are very lucky parents and very blessed to now have two precious and priceless children.
 We will be home tomorrow and are looking forward to sharing Sophia with our family and friends.
