We checked into our new hotel - the Grand Tikal Futura. It is very beautiful. Our room is very large and one of the nicer places we have stayed. The closer it got to 5:00 pm the more nervous Mom got. she was running around trying to get all of Elyana's things together, gift for the foster mom and toys for her to look at while we asked questions about her care. As we were getting ready to walk out the door to meet the attorney with Elyana, we got a call from Sue letting us know they were not coming! Apparently, her embassy doctor's appointment is in the morning and they will take her to that then bring her here. She should be here about 10:00 am. We had to laugh at first because it is so much like when we got Marissa. No one is laughing anymore, though. Mom is taking it really hard. She was looking forward to this and preparing for it and when it didn't come through tonight she was very disappointed. We are going to try this again tomorrow and Lord willing things will go smoothly.
