Well, we made it through our first night with Elyana. She stirred around but never cried at all. I fed her a bottle around 1:00 am and then she went back to sleep. We had our embassy appointment this morning at 7:15. Our interpreter had never been to the embassy before and was worried the traffic would be bad. She wanted to meet us at 5:45 am at our hotel to drive us over. We got up at 4:30 and had no trouble being in the lobby on time. The traffic was light and we got there an hour early. You can't go in until 7 so we ended up driving to a coffee house for much needed coffee!
for her embassy appointment  The embassy appointment was easy. We were the second appointment of the day so we got out of there in about 2 hours. They look at your paperwork, you raise your hand and swear it is all true, pay them some money and you are done.
...The slip issued by the embassy giving you your appointment  Our only problem at the embassy was the credit card machine was not working. You have to pay $380 for her visa. We did not have that much cash on us. Our helper said if we left to get money and they called our name we would go to the end of the line - which would be hours! We were getting ready to send Caitlan to an ATM with the helper when the machine came back up. PTL! Elyana was so tired from getting up so early but she did great. She took a nap for a couple of hours when we got back to the hotel. We took her swimming again today and gave her a bath.
 She loves the water and has no fear.
 We talked to lots of couples today and yesterday that have their babies. They all seem to be having some issues with the babies adjusting... some are small and some are major. We are so thankful that Elyana is doing beautifully.
 She is a true joy and a constant smile (she takes after her dad!)
