numbers)
- Factoring equations in quadratic form
- Finding roots using the quadratic formula
- Finding roots by Completing the square
- Standard Deviation of a set of Data
- Direct,inverse and Joint variation
- Finding the vertex, axis of symmetry and direction of opening of a parabola (quadratic functions)
- Problems requiring the use of laws of logarithms including “change of base formula)
- Solving logarithmic equations
- Exponential growth problems
- Problems requiring the use of laws of exponents
- Solving Exponential equations
- Adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing rational expressions
- Finding the inverse of a function, composition of functions (ex.: (f og)x )
- Finding the other five trigonometric functions given one of the six trig. functions
- Finding the exact value of trigonometric functions (Knowledge of 30-60-90 &45-45-90 triangles required)
- Solving triangles (finding missing sides or angles using law of sines/cosines)
