"Come on Joce you'll like him I promise!" Said Steph. Steph is my best friend. She rocks! We've known each other for, as long as we can remember.
Steph pulled me towards the airport terminal, where her so called 'boyfriend' was going to land in ten minuites. "Joce, he's real nice I swear it."
"He better be because the last time I met one of your 'boyfriends' it was Sam the pyro and he lit a fire by the church. Remember?"
"Yeah Joce just don't get into that now. This is different. This is Nick Carter." Sam was Steph's boyfriend in grade seven untill he lit a fire and they broke up. Since that incedent Steph has sworn never to go out with a pyro again.
We reached the terminal and running, came down a blond haired boy, about seventeen or so towards us. He was also with a brown haired boy that was also about seventeen.
"Nicky!!!!!!!!!!!" Said Steph and he kissed her I just stood there and looked at the other boy. "Nick" She said after they stopped kissing "This is my friend Joce."
"Hey." He said, Steph was right he was cute. "I brought a friend too, Steph, Joce this is Lekan."
"Hi Lekan!" Said Steph, she was rarely shy. "Joce say hi!" She promped me
"Oh umm hi umm Lekan, uhh yeah hi." Boy I felt stupid. Lekan sure was cute.
"Hi Joce. Is that short for Jocelyn?" He asked me.
"Yes it is. Look at those two lovebirds over there!" I said trying to make conversation and at the same time looking at Nick and Steph who were-once again kissing.
"Yeah, I guess we'll be here for a while!" He said. Wow I thought He's the best.
"I guess so!" I said as I waited for Nick and Steph to stop so we could go home. Which I found out later was more like Nick's home we were going to. Finally after what seemed like hours they stopped and we walked to Nick's car-which Steph drove over. When we got to Nick's apartment we went inside and ordered cheese pizza-Nick's fave. When the pizza came we all ate and I was really, quiet-something I rarely ever am.
"So Lekan where do you live?" Steph asked him, she knew I wanted to know this.
"Well actually I live here in Winnipeg. But I live in Fort Rouge." He said
"Cool." She said, Steph is rarely ever shy.
"Let's go on a double date tomorrow!" Said Nick suddenly. "Joce and Lekan can go together and me and Britney Spears can go together!" After he said that Steph pretended to punch him in the arm.
"Right, so I guess me and Leonardo DiCaprio can go together right?" She joked. And Nick didn't like it. The whole time that they were talking and kidding around, I was in a total daze. All I could think of was Lekan and how we'd be on a date tomorrow. Wow, a date with Lekan........................
